Information
The home-cellar of Emidio Pepe, located in the Torano Nuovo countryside, was founded back in 1964 with the aim of making its Montepulciano d’Abruzzo known to the world. The vineyards are managed in harmony with nature by the Pepe family, with Sofia, Daniela, Chiara and Elisa representing the youngest generations. Following a tour of the vineyard and cellar, you can try out 3 or 5 wines accompanied by a platter of cured meats and cheeses with bread and oil. Guests can also visit the old wine cellar containing Pepe’s old vintages and enjoy a vertical tasting of 7 Montepulciano wines dating all the way back to the 1980s.
