The famous winery founded by Gianni Masciarelli in San Martino sulla Marrucina, managed by Marina Cvetic and Miriam Masciarelli, counts a number of estates across the Abruzzo region. A few miles from the San Martino cellar, guests can visit the Semivicoli Castle in Casacanditella, which looks out on the vineyards and hills, between the Maiella and the Adriatic Sea. The exclusive ancient dwelling welcomes guests into its suggestive cantina or intriguing secret garden, for a tasting of 4 of its top wines, accompanied by a selection of cured meats and cheeses from Slow Food producers. The culinary experience continues with an appetiser and a gourmet dish, combining traditional and contemporary flavours.
